Heh! I saw it coming (of course) but that only made me laugh even more.
I felt I'd been going to the "Shocking Twist Ending" well a little too often, and it was time for a "Blindingly Predictable Ending" to mix things up...
I remember an Alexei Sayle TV sketch from years back where he had a couple of Gilbert and George types holding cans of aerosol cream to a guy's face. And after a long, long pause, they both spray it all over the guy. And while I'm splitting my sides, my wife is sitting there with a straight face saying, "What's funny about that? It was completely obvious." Which is sometimes the best way to go :)
Way better than the Cosby Mysteries.
For some reason, this really reminds me of the Wasp and the Unicorn episode of Doctor Who.
