Here is today's entry in the A-Z of Awesomeness!
Now, I realise that what with the pics for D and F, we've now had an awful lot of entries featuring characters from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's Fantastic Four. I would defend this apparent limiting of scope by pointing out that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's Fantastic Four, taken as a body of work, achieves a degree of Aweseomeness almost unparalleled in western popular culture. Also, I just totally wanted to draw Galactus.
Anyway! I promise tomorrow's will be something completely different.
Remember, these drawings are based on suggestions from You, the Internet. Why not join in and suggest topics for future entries - you can put forward your asonishingly alliterative ideas on the A-Z Facebook Group, in comments here on the blog or over on Twitter.
Hi Neil,
ReplyDeleteReally loving the A-Z of Awesomeness.
I moderate a blog called "The Kirby Project" which is dedicated to artwork inspired by the work of Jack Kirby. I would like, with your permission, to add your artwork for letters F and G to the project. I will provide a link to your blog along with a short bio with the posting. If you have chance please take a look at the blog to see what it's all about.

Oh, and here's my suggestion for the letter P:
Previously Peeved Peppermint Patty Proposes Peter Parker Punches Penfold.
'Previously Peeved' - now there's a subtle and complicated expression to capture on the face of a Peanuts character ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyway - hi, and please do! I've checked out the Kirby Project in the past - I love Daryl Cunningham's stuff and I think you reposted a couple of his pics on there. Would be delighted for you to stick these up there too in such fine company.
Neill,
ReplyDeleteI've jut posted F and G at The Project. Cheers for the go ahead.
